Journaling is the tea mama
I said what I said in the title of this piece because it’s true! Journaling is a great outlet for those of us, like myself, that suffer from anxiety/depression that need something to do in our down-time when we’re chilling at home and need to channel our energy into something proactive so we don’t start to get in to our heads. Listening to the inner saboteur that lives inside your head is never the answer. Once you start listening you will find it is all you hear at times running through your brain.
It is important to keep up with the journaling so you can track your progress with it and also track your progress in your day-to-day life. Routines are absolutely built with repetition, so I am currently doing the same as I type away. I am starting my morning with a journal entry to create a clean slate for the day where I feel empowered to start the day at all. It helps me create an environment of calm and composure for myself so I can keep my cool in all situations during my day. This sense of calm and composure comes into play all the time at my job. It is important to keep this confidence in yourself throughout the whole of your work day so you can endure through the tough times. Even then, those tough times don’t seem as bad if you stay confident in your ability to remain composed and cool😎
I will end this piece by saying that you will not regret buying yourself a cute, inexpensive journal for you to write out your feelings and live ya life mama✨
